Run monthly payroll from calculation to payment
A payroll cycle in NXORA starts by opening a monthly period and ends with a payslip whose numbers are frozen and a payment that is on record. Everything that moves the number — fixed components, timesheet hours, unpaid leave, loan instalments, commissions, bonuses, penalties, income tax — is pulled in automatically, so you never rebuild a spreadsheet or re-check a formula.
How it works
- 1
Open the period
Pick the month and currency; a payslip is created for every active employee.
- 2
Review the calculation
Each payslip lists earnings and deductions line by line with the basis of each.
- 3
Approve and lock
Approval freezes the figures so the period can no longer be edited.
- 4
Record payments
Full or partial payment per employee, with the outstanding balance always visible.

Frequently asked questions
- Can a payslip be edited after the period is approved?
- No. Approval deliberately locks the figures so the record stays trustworthy; corrections are made by reopening the period or adjusting in the next one.
- How is tax calculated?
- With progressive brackets you define in settings, applied to a taxable base you control by choosing which salary components are subject to it.
- Does it support multiple currencies?
- Yes, with a USD exchange rate per currency and the option to display all amounts in a single currency.
